Vail Very Young Composers, a New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers-inspired program of Youth Power in partnership with the New York Philharmonic and The Playground Ensemble, allows students of all backgrounds to create their own musical piece from start to finish, during a week-long workshop.

With the help of teaching artists and professional guest artists including New York Philharmonic musicians, students learn to compose for different instruments, write a short story, and set the story to music in a step-by-step process.
